What we do
Good Hope Farm is a small organic farm growing herbs, flowers, vegetables and fruits.
The farm acts as a therapeutic centre where we facilitate and organise various activities and offer purposeful activities - work experience - where our Farmers learn new skills, meet other peers and leave with a sense of achievement at the end of the day.
The farm is open 4 days a week and currently 2 days a week for our (special needs) Farmers. The other days are dedicated to other visitors such as corporate volunteers, volunteers and/or for schools and special needs colleges or respite centres.
- Activities on the farm include taking part in horticulture.
- Cultivating seasonal vegetables, fruits and flowers.
- Some small retail preparation for our farm shop at the gate and some markets.
- Explore and enjoy the natural environment.
- Grass cutting and looking after the garden and the trees.
- Painting our upcycled palette furniture.
- Sustainable art and craft activities.
We organise events for corporate volunteers where the team engages in team building and various tasks on site. It is a great day out with work colleagues .
