Our Mission
Good Hope Farm is a registered Community Interest Company (CIC) for the benefit of adults with Learning Disabilities and the local community.
Good Hope Farm is being designed as a
small organic farm growing vegetables, fruit, flowers, and herbs.
The farm will be a day centre offering
work experience for adults with
Learning disabilities and difficulties, where they can learn and engage in purposeful, stimulating activities while connecting with nature and interacting with peers and the surrounding community.
We intend to offer a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment for adults with special needs: building
confidence,
self-expression and promoting
well-being through outdoor activities and a sustaining connection with the natural world.
We are currently fundraising at The Good Exchange.
As we grow, our immediate need is to get a room where we can accommodate clients and their carers (at least 8 people ideally), our wooden shed just isn't big enough! We call it our Hub Space.

at The Good Exchange and donate.
Local charity
The Greenham Trust is matching every pound donated so any donation is welcome as we get double !!
We believe contact with the natural world and the promotion of mindfulness brings a sense of well-being, recovery and relaxation. This is fundamental for adults with Learning Disabilities, who often are limited in their experiences of the world and especially lack access to nature.
Vision
Workshops
We run regular inclusive workshops that focus on various creative pursuits such as art, dance, music and product making ( hand made garden design products). We also hold yoga and meditation sessions to promote spiritual well-being and mindfulness.
We are launching a project called ‘Be My Guest’ as an opportunity to address funding issues for local people with learning disabilities to access services provided through Good Hope Farm.
We have decided to create this private initiative with the purpose to tackle lack of funding for people in real need to access purposeful activities, learn new skills, meet other people and be active in the community or simply get out of the house.
We are committed to creating pathways to healing and thriving through building confidence, skills and potentially opening opportunities for these vulnerable adults.
We would like to open up accessibility to our services for people with physical and/or learning disabilities and young people not in work education or training without financial support to do so.
